My name is Jaidyn and I am a 5th grader at Bayyari Elementary. I have the opportunity to go to Washington D.C this summer with SOAR Afterschool Program. SOAR has helped me gain confidence in public speaking, gives me a safe place to have fun, and teaches me how to be a good leader. SOAR has amazing leaders who are always there for me and give me space to share my feelings when I need to most. For the trip this summer, we have to raise 1,000 dollars. This trip will help further my growth because we are going to museums to learn about our country and its history while also having a lot of fun. We even get the chance to go to the Whitehouse.
